Oh how I miss dance <3, especially like in the second video. I kind of ache inside for that fluidity and ease/freedom of movement. It's not as fierce as before, I've accepted things more but it still surfaces when I let it. Is it sad that this show makes my summer? They're just such amazing dancers!!

My brother offered to go to a swing dancing club type place with me. I'd just sit and watch of course. I declined. I used to go swing dancing fairly frequently and I think it'd just be too difficult/sad to go and not be able to dance. But for now I can live vicariously through the dancers on this show!

I know what you mean about missing stuff. I used to be a wilderness guide and runner. When I first got sick I'd dream every night I was doing some kind of sport or backcountry trip.
Now I mostly live vicariously.

However, you may improve and be able to dance again. I have a friend with M.E. who got well enough (80%) to dance, run, and work fulltime!

Thanks for stopping by my blog, I'm now a "follower" on yours.

Hi upnorth my name is Mark and I came down with M.E when I was 21 as I was given a medication that I had to take that made me throw up for 3 months. I have had M.E for 1 year and 1 month now. I find if I go for a 15 minute walk I end up in bed for days to recover and it takes 2-3 weeks to fully recover to the point I was before I did the walk. I used to cycle 60-80 kilometers everyday I was super fit all my life and I did this amount of cycling for many years.

I hope I don't have M.E for the rest of my life, why me, why me, GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!
